Wauseon American Legion To Host Blue Star/Gold Star Presentation

The Wauseon American Legion Aux.to Post 265 along with VFW Aux . to Post 7424 will be hosting their 8th Blue Star/Gold Star presentation Sunday October 4th at 2pm at the Wauseon VFW.

This year they will be paying honor to two soldiers who were recently killed while serving their country, CO2 Randall Smith and Capt. Jonathon Wynkoop.

If you have a son/daughter, husband/wife serving and you would like a blue star banner to hang in your window please contact Sherryann Franks by Sept 14th @ 419-388-6010.The days event will include the American Legion riders, bagpipe player, soloists and dove release. You do not have to be a Wauseon resident to participate as all our brave young men and women from all over defend our freedom.
