The Wauseon Exempted Village Schools Board of Education held its meeting on Monday, July 13, approving several items ahead of the upcoming school year. Approved first was the current agenda, along with the minutes from the previous meeting.
Building handbooks for the 2026-2027 school year were approved as presented, along with insurance protection fund payments for the district’s one-to-one device initiative.
Those payments were set at $25 for students in kindergarten through fifth grade and $35 for students in grades six through 12.
A $50 school supply and workbook fee was also approved for students in kindergarten through 12th grade for the 2026-2027 school year.
College Credit Plus agreements with Bowling Green State University, Northwest State Community College and Owens Community College were approved for the 2026-2027 school year.
Monthly bills, financial reports, donations, then and now certificates and appropriations were also reviewed.
Lastly, board members entered into executive session before returning to open session at 5:25 p.m.
