The Wauseon Chamber of Commerce recently held their annual Restaurant Week competition. The event was held from Saturday, February 24th to Sunday March 3rd.

During the week of the competition, restaurant goers were able to visit one of the twenty-two participating restaurants in the city.

There they could receive a card that would be used throughout the week to collect stickers from restaurants during each visit.

After eating out five times, the contact portion on the card would then be filled out and turned into the chamber or one of the participating restaurants.

Each of the cards were then placed into a drawing that would result in 22 people winning a prize. The grand prize was a 65-inch Samsung Smart TV, with the other 21 prizes consisting of $25 gift cards to various restaurants. Prizes were sponsored by Wal-Mart and the Chamber of Commerce.

This year 164 cards were filled out which equates to at least 820 restaurant visits by card holders. The grand prize winner, and recipient of the 65-inch Samsung Smart TV was Sue Yarbro. She was congratulated and awarded the tv on Thursday, March 7th up at the Chamber of Commerce building.
