The Wauseon Chamber of Commerce held their annual member appreciation picnic on Friday, September 16th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The event saw many people from local businesses and organizations come to take part in the picnic.
The event has been taking place for more than twenty years with the goal being to say thank you, and to get people together. “It is important to network with everyone that’s here.”
“Some people may not know each other, or that their business is here. This helps them to ask questions and find out more about each other. It is also a way to show our appreciation for our members,” said Bill Drummer who is the Chamber’s Executive Director.
The city also helps out with the event by bringing over picnic tables. Good food was also the star of the show with brats and hotdogs from Chief Supermarket, grilled by Jeff Rupp. macaroni and cheese from Sullivan’s, broccoli salad and cookies from The Table, and water/pop from the Continental Plaza were also served to those at the picnic.
With good weather and good food, the event saw a good turnout.
