The Wauseon City Council held a special meeting on Thursday, December 30th at 8:00 a.m. The meeting was called to order 8:11 a.m. followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting’s purpose was to pass legislation before the end of the year.
The following Resolutions were approved by city council. Resolution 2021-26 approving an economic development plan in connection with the creation of an incentive district for parcels located in the City of Wauseon; and declaring an emergency. Council voted to suspend the rules before then voting to approve the resolution.
Next was Resolution 2021-27 approving an overlay for the creation of an incentive district for parcels located in the City of Wauseon; and declaring an emergency. Again, council voted to suspend the rules before then voting to approve the resolution.
Resolution 2021-28 was then read and was in regard to the amending of Ordinance 2020-11 Annual Appropriation Ordinance by authorizing the Director of Finance to increase or decrease certain line account appropriations within the various funds listed within the year 2021. A motion was made to place the resolution on final reading which was approved.
Council then moved to adjourn at 8:15 a.m.
