The Wauseon Wahoo dive team were winners on the road June 28th with a 91-13 victory at Napoleon. The Indians picked up 10 first place finishes to cruise to the win. The 8 and under girls division was led by Kaelynn Hartsock (72.1) in first, Emma Burkholder (65.7) finished second, and Halle Stevens (51.4) was third. Kyle Snow (71.7) won the 8 and under boys division followed by Lucas Biddle (66.1) in second and Caden Hite (58.65) in third. For the 9-10 girls it was Kali Albright (101.95) in first, Carly Hite (93.87) in second, Elise Eberle (92.95) finished third, and Alex Schultz (89.55) coming home in fourth. Kohen Nofziger (90.5) and Nalu Neifer (83.95) finished in first and second respectively in the 9-10 boys age group. The 11-12 girls had a first place finish by Ashlyn Ledyard (133.5) and a fourth place finish by Alyssa Disanti (126.1). Austyn Schweinhagen (102) scored a first place finish in the 11-12 boys and Bailey McGuire (121.35) did the same for the 13- 14 girls. In the 13-14 boys it was Carter Hite (113.9) on top of the podium while Elena Pratt (121.95) placed second for the 15-16 girls division. Rounding out the scoring for Wauseon was Alexys Carteaux (177.4) with a first place finish in the 17-18 girls and Tony Schweinhagen (224.2) with the top spot for the 17-18 boys. Wauseon’s final meet of the summer will be on July 5th followed by the GNOAC Championship meet on July 14th where the Indians will be defending champions.
