Williams County, Ohio – Local authorities have issued a Level One travel advisory for Williams County as winter weather conditions bring snow and ice to the region.

The advisory, effective immediately, urges residents to exercise caution while driving as roadways may become slippery and visibility could be reduced.

The National Weather Service has reported light to moderate snowfall across the county, with temperatures hovering near freezing, creating hazardous driving conditions.

The Level One advisory, the lowest of three levels, advises motorists to drive carefully and be prepared for potential delays.

Sheriff’s deputies and road crews are actively monitoring conditions and treating roads as needed.

Residents are encouraged to limit non-essential travel, allow extra time for commutes, and ensure vehicles are equipped with emergency supplies.
