Wauseon traveled to Lake, intent on stealing a win from the hometown Flyers. They played like it, too, though it wasn’t enough.
From game 1, both sides were wrestling for control. The Lady Indians lost the set 23-25, but continued unabated. That persistence paid off in game 2, as Wauseon claimed a 25-20 win to force a third game. A back and forth affair, the Wauseon girls came up just short in the third set, dropping the game 23-25 to lose the match.
