(September 29th, 2014)-LAKE: Coming into the Flyers home gym, the Lady Indians of Wauseon had no fear of Lake. It showed, as they controlled the match from the offset, only being challenged at its back end.
Game 1 belonged to the Indians, as they commanded the set 25-12. Lake showed some fight in the second set, but the Wauseon girls still claimed game 2 25-19. The third game was a battle, with the Lady Indians holding on to win 26-24 and take the match.
Indian Sariah Yackee made 13 digs to keep the ball alive for her teammate, and also had 5 aces as well. Hayley Chamberlain set her Wauseon teammates up with 18 assists to go along with her 4 blocks, 2 kills, and 2 aces. With 14 digs, 13 kills, and 2 aces, Kierra Fountain also played a pivotal role in the Lady Indian victory.
