Wauseon Sprints Through Pike Run, Patrick Henry and Swanton Stumble

August 25th-OTTAWA: With an impressive 22 strokes separating them from their closest competition, Wauseon claimed victory in a tri-match against Patrick Henry and Swanton. The Indians breezed through Pike Run, shooting a 152. Patrick Henry turned in a team score of 174, good for second place. Swanton put up a 177, giving them a third place finish.

Wauseon had a staggering three players shoot under 40, with just one player on both opposing teams combined achieving the same feat. Trevor Dominique and Brady Rupp each turned in a 36, while David Williams submitted a 38. Anna Marshall rounded out the scoring for the Indians, offering a 42 to the victory total.

In the losing effort, Aaron Tietje, of Patrick Henry, took medalist status with a 34. Jared Nelson and Joe Nickels each fired a 41 for Patrick Henry as well.


Swanton’s Cody Arnold also shot a 41. Devin Jones contributed a 43 to the Bulldog effort. Mark Lair added a 46.
