Ashley Bennett, 34, Wauseon, pleaded guilty to Theft and two counts of Forgery. Between July 23, 2018 to December 10, 2018, she forged two checks and stole cash, being $1,000 or more, but less than $7,5000.
Judge Jeffrey L. Robinson sentenced Ms. Bennett to 2 years of community control and ordered her to pay prosecution costs, successfully complete the Drug Court Program and successfully complete drug treatment and all recommended aftercare.
Failure to comply could result in Ms. Bennett spending 7 months in prison on each count of Forgery and 6 months in prison for Theft, said sentences for Forgery to be served concurrently with one another and consecutive with the sentence for Theft, for a total prison term of 13 months.
