WCCT Receives Awards For Production Of “Freud’s Last Session”

WCCT MEMBERS … Scottie Miller, Chrissy Herman, Loni Smith, Kevin Smith, Denver Henderson, Crystal Rose Bowers, Courtney Miller.

On June 24 at Owens Community College in Perrysburg the Ohio Community Theater Association for the Northwest Region held their regional theater competition.

The Northwest Region serves and supports member community theaters in these Ohio counties: Defiance, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Lucas, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert, Williams & Wood. This involves 14 community theaters.

Williams County Community Theater (WCCT) competed with their 2022 season production of “Freud’s Last Session”.

The following awards were presented to WCCT: Outstanding in Acting – Denver Henderson as Sigmund Freud; Outstanding in Set Décor – Crystal Rose Bowers; Excellence in Acting – Kevin Smith as C. S. Lewis; Excellence in Directing – Crystal Rose Bowers; Excellence in Costumes – Denver Henderson and Kevin Smith

This is an honor for WCCT and contributes to the art of “live theater” in our community.


WCCT is continuing to enhance the local area with their renovation going forward on their buildings on the square.
