After serving Williams County residents for 42 years at the Williams County Public Library (WCPL), retired WCPL Director Jeff Yahraus has officially been named an Ohio Hall of Fame Librarian by the Ohio Library Council (OLC).
After years of demonstrating “significant participation and leadership in various library organizations and committees” and “dedication and commitment to the library field,” the OLC is proud to commend Yahraus on “his consistent effort to acknowledge and credit his staff members where it is due,” and “fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.”
As the OLC commented, “Yahraus is a true advocate for libraries and those who work for them. For his exceptional leadership, dedication to the profession, and tremendous impact on library services in Ohio, Yahraus has been named a Hall of Fame Librarian.”
