PRESS RELEASE – The West Unity Omnibus Club met Monday afternoon, February 9, at the Presbyterian Social Room, with fourteen members in attendance.
The program committee organized the day’s activities, which included a fringed pillow demonstration, making a mini heart wreath, and crafting a cute little Easter basket to take home.
Linda Sumner reported on the Hilltop Science Fair, where the Omnibus Club sponsored awards in three categories for the event.
Members are asked to consider serving on the Senior High School Scholarship Committee, which will be appointed next month. College scholarships will be awarded in May to eligible high school seniors who apply.
The Club is excited to once again sponsor the Christmas Housewalk on December 5, after an absence of several years. This event will be held in conjunction with their annual Craft Show, luncheon, and other downtown Christmas festivities. Mark your calendars so you don’t miss this special event!
