WILLIAMS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS: Resolutions Passed In Accordance To Ohio Revised Codes

The Williams County Commissioners held their regular meeting on Tuesday, August 13th. The regular meeting was located in their office at the East Annex Building in Bryan, Ohio.

The meeting began at 9:00am for a general session and a 10:00am meeting followed between the commissioners and the OSU Extension office for their quarterly review.

Resolutions passed by the commissioners during their meeting were as follows:

Resolution 24-0280: a resolution approving the county auditor to create new lines and make supplemental appropriations from and to the following funds:

Williams County Auditor – $4,192.31 from Unappropriated to Other Expense-Settlement to resolve shortage in account after 2nd half settlement fees processes.

Williams County Board of DD-Enrichment Center – $1,140.08 from Contingencies to Settlement fees for settlement fees.

Williams County Commissioners – $75,000 from General Fund Transfer out to Victim’s Assistance transfer in for the request approved December 2023.

Williams County Department of Aging – $2,534.06 from Unappropriated to Insurance Liability for a shortage in the line,

Williams County Engineer’s Office – $47,170.25 from Contract Prices to Contract Projects-Surface for 2024 Project-Pavement Markings.

Williams County Victims Assistance – $9,935 from Unappropriated, ($8,700) to Salaries, ($135) to Medicare, ($1,100) to PERS for the budget for the remainder of the FY24 VOCA Grant.

Resolution 24-0281: a resolution in the matter of the Annexation #1-2024 of 0.4100 Acres to the City of Bryan, Williams County, Ohio more or less, in center Township, pursuant to Revised Code Section 709.02 from the petitioner Mary Carpenter.

Resolution 24-0282: a resolution acknowledging the accepted bid for project #6-2024, Pavement Marking Program as that from Griffin Pavement Stripping of Fremont, Ohio in the amount of $105,444.75.

Resolution 24-0283: a resolution in which authorizes the county administrator to perform administrative functions pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 305.30.

Resolution 24-0284: a resolution in the matter of designating and granting various Authority to County Administrator to allow to sign, pay vouchers, handle payroll for offices and departments, and any other tasks deemed necessary to function within said position.

After resolutions were done the commissioners received their update from the OSU Extension office with Kayla Wise, Megan Schulte and Becky McGuire.
