Williams County Community Theater Holds Awards Night For 2024 Season

(PRESS RELEASE / THE VILLAGE REPORTER)
AWARDS NIGHT … The evening consisted of a potluck followed by an annual meeting pertaining to financials and accomplishments for the year of 2024. President Crystal Rose Bowers challenged the group to bring two new faces in the newly remodeled theater for 2025. The entertainment was hosted by Denver Henderson and Kevin Smith recapping the season and offering a history of the theater’s beginnings and a toast to those you have passed on who provided support for WCCT to live on as a community theater. Awards were presented with the evening ending with the singing of “Suds in Your Eye” , the theme song of WCCT written by Bob Robinson and Cecil Goldsmith. Willie Awards were given to: Back row: Loni Smith-Supporting Actress, Kevin Smtih – Supporting Actor, Jeremy Scott – Lead Actor, Denver Henderson – Best Show for The Outsider , Joe Curry-Male Cameo, Crystal Rose Bowers – Lead Actress. Front Row – Trudy Day- Thespian Award and Female Cameo, Mary Beth Snider-President’s Award and Supporting Actress, Cord Ehrhart, Best set for Dashing Through the Snow.
