Members of the Williams County Grand Jury convened on December 14 and returned indictments against eight individuals. Those indicted include:
David R. Daugherty, 41, of Delta was indicted for Improperly Handling Firearms in a Motor Vehicle, a fourth-degree felony. Daugherty is charged with carrying a firearm in a motor vehicle in such a way that the firearm was accessible to the operator or any passenger on or about November 13, 2021.
Michael L. Harrison, 38, of Wauseon was indicted for Illegal Conveyance of Drugs onto the Grounds of a Detention Facility, a third-degree felony. Harrison is charged with carrying Buprenorphine onto the grounds of The Correction Center of Northwest Ohio on or about May 29, 2021.
Chad E. Howard, 21, of Bryan was indicted for Corrupting Another with Drugs, a fourth-degree felony. Howard is charged with providing Marijuana to a juvenile on or about November 20, 2021.
Kaitlyn M. Kiss, 22, of Bryan was indicted for Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Kiss is charged with possessing or using methamphetamine on or about April 19, 2021.
Matthew T. Rednour, 42, of Napoleon was indicted on one count of Illegal Conveyance of Drug of Abuse on the Grounds of a Detention Facility, a third-degree felony, and one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Rednour is charged with possessing or using Fentanyl as well as carrying the drug onto the grounds of The Correction Center of Northwest Ohio on or about January 21, 2021.
Rocky W. Reynolds, 36, of Edon was indicted for Receiving Stolen Property, a fourth-degree felony. Reynolds is charged with the receipt of a stolen Honda ATV on or about August 19, 2021.
Christopher M. Wickerham, 37, of Hicksville was indicted on two counts of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, one third-degree felony and one fifth-degree felony. Wickerham is charged with possessing methamphetamine and Fentanyl on or about June 26, 2021.
Chasity R. Zuber, 42, of Montpelier was indicted for Theft, a fifth-degree felony. Authorities allege that Zuber is responsible for the theft of $1450 in lottery ticket sales from Circle K of Montpelier, which took place between the approximate dates of July 19 and September 27, 2021.
It should be noted that an indictment is merely an accusation and that all criminal defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
