The Williams County Land Reutilization Corporation Board of Directors met Thursday, May 21, 2026, for a regular meeting focused on routine approvals and project updates.
Chair Brian Wieland, Todd Burkholder, Scott Lirot, Vickie Grimm and Kellie Gray were in attendance. Terry Rummel filled in for Bart Westfall during his absence.
During the meeting, the minutes from the April 9, 2026, meeting were approved as well as the April 2026 financials.
The Maumee Valley Planning Organization (MVPO) reported that asbestos inspections are scheduled and will be completed within a month on current properties.
A resolution was passed authorizing the MVPO to look into filing another Brownfield grant.
The Landbank currently has $140,000 still left over in funds, and if not used, the funds will return to the state of Ohio. This will be for Phase One of future assessments.
The old Kunkle School in Kunkle and the Cogswell Body Shop in Pioneer were considered for options by the Board.
With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 11:24 a.m.
