The Williams County Special Olympics closed out their 2nd annual softball season this past week. On Thursday, September 7th, law enforcement from different agencies in Williams County teamed up with the Sharks to form 2 teams to play against each other in the last game of the season.

All of the players in the Special Olympics look forward to this specific game of the season and members of law enforcement have just as much fun as the players. This event is a fun way to get everyone together so that they get to know one another.

The event also brings together everyone in the community and gives them the opportunity to cheer on the Special Olympics team.

The game even brings out people who are not related to anyone on the teams as they just want to cheer them on anyway.

At the end of the game, Williams County Law Enforcement Agencies donated a check in the amount of $500 to the Williams County Special Olympics.
