The Williams County Port Authority met on March 27, 2024 at 12 p.m. They first approved the minutes of their March 13, 2024 meeting before granting the Montpelier Linden Street property an extension to April 30th.

Ashley Epling shared that the High Street property in West Unity is on target for completion, and the property in Stryker should be listed next week, with the Linden Street property already listed.

209 Bunny Lane is in underwriting, Curtis April 1, and Oak Street property in Edgerton is awaiting grant funding.

Future floor plans are being researched and compiled, with a few ready for the association to review for approval.

The plans are needed before the projects can be sent out, with projects going above $150,000 needing to be put out for bid. It will take an estimated month or so before there is a workable plan for duplexes.

Discussion was then held on potential partnership opportunities with local high schools, colleges, and businesses for vocational training opportunities whilst these housing units are being constructed.

They then entered into executive session at 12:13 p.m., coming out to make a motion to approve a renewal on the option to purchase 23.65 acres in Bryan for the Ridge at Greenfield project, with the purchase being dependent on whether or not grant funding is awarded.
