Williams County Safe Communities Releases Traffic Fatalities Update For The Second Quarter Of 2016

MONTPELIER, OHIO –The Williams County Safe Communities program reports three fatalities for the second quarter of 2016 during the months of April – June 2016.

This compares with the second quarter of 2015 reporting of one fatal traffic crash in Williams County. The third fatality reported from traffic crash on June 24 succumbed due to injury on July 2, 2016.

As of August 15, 2016, Williams County reports six traffic crash fatalities.

As of August 15, 2016, Ohio traffic statistics reports 633 confirmed fatalities for 2016 as compared to 664 fatalities for the same date in 2015 a difference of -31 and an -5% change. There are an additional 50 unconfirmed provisional traffic fatalities to date for 2016.


Williams County Second Quarter Traffic Fatalities:

There were three fatal traffic crashes in the second quarter of 2016, as compared to one fatal traffic crash in the second quarter of 2015.
