RETIREMENT CELEBRATION … On Saturday, September 9, Williams County Writers Group honored Deedee Plettner (pictured), the retiring leader of the group. After the celebration, the group shared their writings which included tributes to Deedee written by Bob Nailor and Lynn Gilliland. The group is open to anyone interested in writing and meets the first Saturday of the month in the Williams County Public Library’s Carnegie Building in Bryan.
