Wilma June Clair, age 79, of Fremont, Indiana and formerly of Delta, Ohio, passed away on Friday July 5, 2019 at the Community Health Professionals, Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.
June was born in Neapolis, Ohio on June 12, 1940 to the late Lester & Elma (Krauss) Aumend. She married Richard Rowe and he preceded her in death in 1979. She then met and married Earl Clair in 1987 and he preceded her in death in 2013. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and spending many years on Silver Lake in Michigan fishing and pontooning.
Left to cherish her memory, are her children, David (Cathy) Rowe; Cindy (Bill) Mann; Cindy (Greg) Nofzinger; Wendy (Dean) Lester; 3 grandchildren Brian; Kayla; Eric and 1 great granddaughter, Sophie June. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Marilyn; Carolyn Holland and Marian Smith.
A memorial service celebrating June’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy 109, Delta, Ohio, with receiving of friends from 10:00 AM until start of service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in June’s memory be made to Community Health Professionals, Inpatient Hospice, 6817 St. Rt. 66 N, Defiance, Ohio 43512.
