GIRLS BOWLING

Wauseon 2,118 Anthony Wayne 1,557

NAPOLEON – Danielle Carr posted a 258 in game one and finished with a 437 series and Jayde Ramos was close behind with a 414 (236, 178) to lead Wauseon to a non-league win over the Generals.

Bryan 2, 028 Evergreen 1, 764

BRYAN – Bryan’s Faith Harding had the high game of the night for all bowlers with a 247 and totaled a 412 on the night in a win over Evergreen (3-5, 2-5 NWOAL).

Ashley Grymonprez was next for the Bears (4-3, 3-3 NWOAL) with games of 195 and 159 for a 354. Keigan Shuster was Evergreen’s top bowler with a 315 (169, 146).

Liberty Center 2,072 Delta 1,894

SWANTON – Gwyn Murrey rolled a 344 (191, 153) and Riley Garretson had a 338 (173, 165) to lead a balanced Tigers (7-0, 7-0 NWOAL) attack as they remained undefeated. Lexi Brown tallied the high game of the night for Delta (2-5, 1-5 NWOAL) with a 224.

BOYS BOWLING

Bryan 2,317 Evergreen 2,110

BRYAN – The Golden Bears led 1,761-1,673 after match play and then swept the Baker games (204-173, 185-125, 167-139) to pull away and knock off Evergreen.

Matt Meade tallied the high series for Bryan (7-1, 6-1 NWOAL) with a 416 (235, 181) and Michael Laver topped the Vikings (1-8, 1-7 NWOAL) with a 361 (206, 155).

Liberty Center 2,301 Delta 2,240

SWANTON – Tim Blanton’s 492 (244, 248) and a 439 (235, 204) from Landon Amstutz were the catalyst in Liberty Center’s (8-1, 7-1 NWOAL) win over Delta (2-6, 1-6 NWOAL). Brody Waugh fired a 217 game for Delta’s high score of the night.

Swanton 2,272 Wauseon 1,923

NAPOLEON – Seth Sweet rolled a 400 (219, 181) series and Marty Mosher (203, 193) added a 396 as Swanton (5-3, 4-3 NWOAL) earned a league road win over Wauseon. Kage Little led the Wauseon (0-7, 0-5 NWOAL) effort with games of 150 and 206 for a 356 series in the loss.

Archbold 68 Bryan 26

ARCHBOLD –The Bluestreaks connected on 15 triples led by Alex Roth with five as he finished with 18 points in a 68-26 win over Bryan. Cade Brenner added 15 for Archbold (7-4, 1-1 NWOAL) while the Bryan (0-1, 0-9 NWOAL) scoring was topped by Craig Jackson with 10.

FRESHMAN: Archbold, 38-19

Wauseon 45 Liberty Center 31

WAUSEON –Wauseon (8-4, 1-0 NWOAL) clamped down in the fourth quarter and held Liberty Center (5-5, 1-1 NWOAL) to just one field goal and outscored the Tigers 11-3 to pull away for the win. Jonas Tester put up a game-high 23 points for the Indians and Landon Hines had 11.

FRESHMAN: Wauseon, 34-27

Swanton 46 Patrick Henry 43

SWANTON – Nic Borojevich had 15 points and Luc Borojevich tallied 14 to help the Bulldogs (11-1, 2-0 NWOAL) remain unbeaten in the NWOAL. Patrick Henry (9-3, 1-1 NWOAL) was paced by Nash Meyer’s 17.

Edon 42 Stryker 31

STRYKER – The Panthers (5-8, 0-3 BBC) jumped out to a 7-5 advantage after one quarter, but Edon (7-4, 3-0 BBC) responded with a 17-8 second quarter as they moved to 3-0 in the BBC.

Edon’s Drew Gallehue was the lone player in double figures with 16 while Jacob Cadwell and Teyvon Harris had nine apiece for Stryker.

Fayette 58 Hilltop 45

WEST UNITY – Elijah Lerma had 21 points as Fayette (9-2, 3-0 BBC) put three players in double digits to remain perfect in BBC play. Quinn Mitchell and Skylar Lester add 19 and 16 points respectively for the Eagles. Brock Kesler netted 14 points for the Cadets (1-9, 0-3 BBC).

Holgate 47 Montpelier 32

HOLGATE –Robbie Thacker registered 18 and Abe Kelly had 12 as Holgate (3-9, 1-2 BBC) took down the Locos 47-32 for their first win in BBC action. Garret Walz dropped a game-high 19 for Montpelier (2-9, 0-3 BBC).

M’PELIER    6   9    9   8 –  32

HOLGATE  11 12  11 13 – 47

JUNIOR VARSITY: Montpelier, 19-18

FRESHMAN: Holgate, 25-12

North Central 60 Pettisville 56

PETTISVILLE – Zach Hayes scored 16 of his 19 points in the second half as North Central (7-3, 3-0 BBC) stormed back in the second half for the BBC win.

Pettisville (7-5, 2-1 BBC) took a 26-17 lead at the break before North Central came back with a 43-30 second half to get the win. Landon Justice also reached double digits for the Eagles with 12, who over came an 11/21 night at the foul line.

Pettisville’s offense had four in double figures with Jaret Beck leading all scorers with 20 points, Cayden Jacoby had 14 while Zakkai Kaufmann and Sean Adkins each chipped in with 11.

N. CENTRAL 12 5   20   23 – 60

P’VILLE          10  16  11  19 –  56

JUNIOR VARSITY: N. Central, 37-20

Fairview 47 Edgerton 32

EDGERTON – The Bulldogs offense started slow falling behind 28-6 at halftime as the fell at home 47-32 to Fairview (3-9, 2-1 GMC. Edgerton (2-10, 0-3 GMC) was led by Cole Meyer who had 14 points, all in the second half.
