PETTISVILLE – Joey Ripke’s jumper from near the top of the key with 0.5 seconds remaining was the difference as the Blackbirds (9-6) got the win on Homecoming Night at The Birdcage.

Pettisville’s Cayden Jacoby made four buckets and was 7/12 at the line for a team-high 15 points while Jaret Beck chipped in with 12.

ARCHBOLD – Alex Roth hit four of Archbold’s eight three-pointers as he finished with 18 points in the Bluestreaks 59-40 win. DJ Newman was next in scoring for Archbold (9-5) with seven field goals to total 14 points.

HICKSVILLE –The Aces (11-5) took an early 14-3 lead and then outscored the Eagles 13-8 in the fourth to close out a 39-23 victory. Elijah Lerma topped Fayette (10-5) with 11 points.

CONTINENTAL – The Pirates (5-10) grabbed a 22-18 lead at halftime and extended it with a 16-8 third quarter to knock off North Central. Landon Justice led the North Central (8-5) offense with 10 points

EDGERTON – Edon raced to a 20-6 advantage after one quarter thanks to Drew Gallehue scoring 12 of his game-high 19 points in the opening stanza as Edon (8-5) rolled to the non-league win. Caden Nester also was in double figures for Edon with four field goals and nine free throws for 17. The Bulldogs (3-12) were fronted by 12 points from Cole Meyer.

WEST UNITY – The Cadets improved to 11-5 as they cruised to a 50-21 non-league win over Maumee Valley Country Day. Libbie Baker poured in 22 points for Hilltop, whose defense held the Hawks to single digits in each quarter.

ST MARYS – Bryan led 21-10 after one quarter but was outscored 43-25 the rest of the way in a loss to the Roughriders. Reese Grothaus and Addie Arnold each had 14 points for Bryan.
