James Marshall Cramer, age 69, of Delta, passed away January 27, 2015 at Whitehouse Country Manor after a courageous battle with T-cell lymphoma, attributed to exposure of Agent Orange. James was born in Columbus, OH on November 5, 1945, to Paul and Evelyn (Arend) Cramer.
After graduation from Swanton High School, Jim enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country, doing two tours of duty in the Viet Nam war. Jim was a truck driver his entire life driving for Beroske Farms and O’Neill Farms. His greatest love was being outdoors fishing and hunting.
Jim is survived by his loving son, James (Robin) Cramer; grandson, Paul Cramer; sisters, Nancy Cramer, Patricia (Gary) Rhoades; brothers, Bill and Paul (Debbie) Cramer, nephew, Todd; niece, Ashley (Ryan) Potts and their children Tanner and Cameron.
Friends and family are invited to a gathering of remembrance for Jim from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Delta American Legion, 5939 St Hwy 109, Delta, Ohio 43515; where Military Honors will be provided by the Fulton County Honor Guard at 2:15 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fulton County Honor Guard, P.O Box 205, Wauseon, Ohio 43567 or Nature’s Nursery, P.O Box 2395, Whitehouse, Ohio 43571 in Jim’s memory.
