19 Year Old Fulton County Man Killed In Two Car Crash

The Toledo Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash which occurred on SR 295 at Brint Rd., in the Village of Berkey, Lucas County. The crash happened on September 25, 2019 at approximately 9:00 a.m.

A 2011 Chevrolet Impala being driven by 19-year old Cullen Lumbrezer of Metamora, Ohio was eastbound on Brint Rd. at SR 295. A 2007 Chrysler Town and Country, being driven by 39-year old Emily White of Berkey, Ohio was southbound on SR 295 at Brint Rd.

Mr. Lumbrezer failed to yield from a stop sign and was struck by Mrs. White. After striking, both vehicles went off the right side of SR 295. Once off the right side of the road, Mrs. White struck a utility box and Mr. Lumbrezer struck a utility pole. Mr. Lumbrezer was pronounced deceased at the scene and Mrs. White was transported to Flower Hospital.

Mrs. White was wearing a seatbelt and Mr. Lumbrezer was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Alcohol is not a factor in the crash and no charges have been filed.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Richfield Township Fire Department and EMS, Springfield Township Fire Department, Sylvania Township Fire Department and EMS, the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office, Piasecki’s Towing, VJ’s Towing, Ohio Edison, and the Lucas County Coroner’s Office.
