The following individuals were sentenced in Fulton County Common Pleas court according to county prosecutor Scott A. Haselman.
• Matthew A. Perkins, age 33, of Delta, previously pled guilty to Theft. On or about May 6, 2019, Mr. Perkins stole a motor vehicle identification license plate.
Judge Jeffrey Robinson sentenced Mr. Perkins to three years of community control. He ordered Mr. Perkins to pay prosecution costs and court appointed attorney fees; successfully complete the SEARCH Program and any recommended aftercare; and be assessed at Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio for dual diagnosis.
Failure to abide by these conditions could result in Mr. Perkins serving 11 months in prison.
• Torian Goings, of Toledo, age 23, previously pled guilty to Attempted Trafficking in Cocaine and Attempted Illegal Use of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Benefits or WIC Program Benefits. On or about May 10, 2018, Ms. Goings sold cocaine and possessed supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits or WIC program benefits in a manner not authorized by law.
Judge Jeffrey Robinson sentenced Ms. Goings to three years of community control. He ordered Ms. Goings to serve 14 days in CCNO with work release; pay prosecution and court costs; pay restitution in the amount of $180 to the MAN Unit and $513.47 to the U. S. Dept. of Agriculture; be assessed at Renewed Mind for dual diagnosis; not consume or possess alcohol or illegal drugs in her home or vehicle; not enter bars and/or taverns; and seek and maintain gainful employment.
Failure to abide by these conditions could result in Ms. Goings serving 180 days in jail.
