BOYS BOWLING

Evergreen 2329 Tinora 2072

The Vikings rallied after falling behind early 872-847 to pull away for the win over Tinora. David Fuller rolled a 217 in game two for Evergreen on his way to a 415 series while Ayden DeGroff tallied a 388 (177+211).

Delta 1823 Swanton 1079

Brody Waugh fired games of 197 and 168 for a 365 series to lead Delta to the win over a shorthanded Swanton team. Gabe Syverson was next for the Panthers with a 341 (160+181). Seth Sweet had the high score for Swanton with a 357 (165+192).

GIRLS BOWLING

Wauseon 2152 Bryan 2127

The Lady Indians raced out to a 904-751 lead after the opening games and were able to hold off the Bryan rally to get the win. Quinnlyn Rohda had the high game for Wauseon with a 215 in game one and finished with a 414 series. Jayde Ramos was next for the Lady Indians with a 372 (181+191) and Danielle Carr added a 340 (173+167). Bryan’s Faith Harding had the high game of the match with a 257 in game two and ended the night with a 447 series.

Swanton 2048 Delta 1718

Amy Lawson rolled a pair of 192s and Ivy Serres had 235 in game one as part of her 363 series to lead Swanton to the win over Delta at Swanton Sports Center. Delta was paced by a 326 (193+133) from Maddy Johnston and Ciarra Flickinger added a 312 (151+161).

BOYS BASKETBALL

Evergreen 39 Swanton 36

Evergreen outscored Swanton 12-6 in the fourth quarter to pull out a 39-36 win in their season opener. Evan Lumbrezer led the way for Evergreen with 15 points while the Bulldogs were paced by Josh Vance with 14 and Andrew Thornton added 11.

Wayne Trace 50 Bryan 34

Trevor Sinn had a game high 17 points to lead the Raiders who shot 59% from the field in their win at Bryan. Craig Jackson had 13 points for Bryan while Titus Rohrer added nine points and seven rebounds.

JV SCORES:

Wayne Trace d. Bryan 42-31

Evergreen d. Swanton 39-20

FRESHMAN SCORE:

Evergreen d. Swanton 33-8

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Hilltop 47 Fayette 27

The Lady Cadets bounced back from a 9-6 deficit after the first quarter by outscoring Fayette 41-18 over the final three quarters. Hilltop (4-1, 3-0 in BBC) had eight different players score led by Lana Baker with 12 points. Trista Fruchey had a game-high 14 points to lead the Lady Eagles offense.

Stryker 38 North Central 33

Sage Woolace had 14 points and Alexia Wickerham added 12 to lead Stryker to the win in the debut of new coach Conner Varner. North Central’s Madison Brown had 17 points to lead all scorers and Lauren Balser added 12.
