The Swanton Village council began the meeting with a prayer followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll call was then performed for Council Members with David Pilliod, Michael Rochelle, Craig Rose, and Dianne Westhoven in attendance.

The agenda was read as well as the minutes for the May 24th meeting. The council then held a ceremonial swearing in for the new Lieutenant at the Swanton Fire Department Kate Cleland.

There was nothing to discuss for the committee report or in old business. In new business, with only 4 council members present the emergency resolutions that follow were not able to be voted on.

-First reading of Ordinance 2021: Establishing the final assessments for all properties in the Village of Swanton for the cost of leaf collection.

-Emergency Resolution 2021: Resolution authorizing the submission and support of a request to senator Sherrod Brown for Congressionally directed spending appropriations.

-Emergency Ordinance 201: Authorizing Village Administrator to enter into an agreement for the Woodside resurfacing project.

There was nothing to discuss in the administrators report.

There was nothing to discuss in reference to public comments due to no one reaching out before the deadline of June 10th.

The council then went into an Executive session with everything being discussed considered off the record.
