BOOK SIGNING … Area libraries often invite local authors to share about their books and to sign them for those who make a purchase at the Book Signing. Connie Aeschliman, head librarian at the Stryker branch of Williams County Public Libraries, was thrilled to have Kimberly Wyse come and share about Looking Up When Life Looks Down. Kimberly Wyse, an area mother of three beautiful children, spoke to a small group who gathered at Stryker Library despite the cold rainy evening on September 22, 2021.

She came to share about her son who was born with Downs Syndrome and a plethora of medical issues. Her book, Looking UP When Life Looks down, tells as the subtitle says, of the shattered dreams, medical miracles and restored hope that she and her family have gone through in the past four and one half years.

Redmond Wyse was born in 2017 and “was whisked away before his mother could see his face.” Kimberly spoke of how her dreams and prayers as a little girl seemed to be thrown away at first, but then God used friends and His still small voice to bring her to an understanding that He is worthy of all her trust.

It says on the back cover of her book, “She shares with raw honesty what she’s learned as she’s dealt with so many hard things.” For anyone going through difficult times, this book gives the reader a glimpse into the heart of God in a fresh way.

Wyse, who is a PK (preacher’s kid; for those who know him, her dad is Sam Wenger), waited for the right man and got married at the age of 36, also writes a blog which can be found at www.kimberlywyse.com.

She enjoys hearing from her readers at her kimberlywyse FaceBook page and can also be seen on instagram.com/kimberlywyse and pinterest.com/wysekimberly. Be sure to get a copy of this book.
