The MacDonald-Ruff Ice Arena off of Townline Road saw some activity during the sunny, cool morning that graced Williams County on Saturday, September 16th.

With around 50 people registered, the 37th annual Steps for Life Walkathon and 5K began at 9 a.m.

5K … This was the 37th annual Steps for Life 5K and Walkathon.

This event is an integral part of the CPC’s fundraising efforts, second only to their Spring Benefit, which both help fund the four locations operated by the CPC.

People of all ages participated, and everyone was welcome to go at their own pace.

From the robust athletes who took off as soon as allowed, to the elderly and infantile, everyone participating was happy to have a hand in making a difference in the lives of in-need women and children.
