Fulton County 4-H Extension Commends Three Volunteers For 60 Years Of Service

A.J Zanyk Photography 2015The Ohio State University Extension Fulton County 4-H is pleased to announce the recognition of Ohio 4-H volunteers who have contributed 60 years to the Ohio 4-H Program.

Maxine Allen, Dorothy Montgomery, and Arlene Stoup were recently honored for their 60 years of volunteer service to the Ohio 4-H Youth Development program at the Bob Evans Farms 4-H Volunteer Recognition Luncheon held Saturday, March 14, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The recognition luncheon was part of an all-day 4-H volunteer education conference.

Ohio 4-H is the youth development program of Ohio State University Extension, the outreach arm of CFAES. In 2014, more than 216,000 young Ohioans participated in traditional 4-H clubs, camps and school enrichment programs, and in other Extension youth groups and educational activities. Ohio has more than 17,000 active 4-H volunteers.
