Williams County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Nick Lanzer received a certificate of appreciation from the Northwest Ohio Safety Council the evening of April 24 at the Safety Council recognition ceremony held in Maumee, OH. Deputy Lanzer, who was first on the scene, used his life saving skills to revive and save the life of Williams County resident; 29 year old Joe Bohner. Deputy Lanzer is a veteran deputy at the Williams County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Steven M. Towns recognized Lanzer’s actions in 2014. The award from the Safety Council is further recognition of the excellent service Deputy Lanzer and the rest of the Sheriff’s Office provide to the citizens of Williams County.
