A devastating incident occurred near the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport in Ohio on Friday, July 19, 2024, resulting in the loss of all three individuals on board a twin-engine Beechcraft 60.
The crash, suspected to be caused by a mechanical failure, took place around 6:45 p.m. and tragically claimed the lives of the pilot and two passengers.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol post in Trumbull County reported that the crash, just north of the airport, resulted in the loss of the three individuals. The families of the victims have been notified, and their names will be released at a later time.
According to Anthony Trevena, the executive director of the Western Reserve Port Authority, the aircraft had departed from Plattsburgh, New York, but its intended destination remains unknown. The victims were reported to be a man, a woman, and a child.
