Wauseon’s Fulton Lumber Announces Closing

According to a release sent out by the Wauseon Chamber of Commerce, Fulton County Lumber and Coal Inc. will permanently close on October 31st, 2024. A release provided by the Chamber is as follows.

“it is with heavy heart that Fulton Lumber announces its permanent closure effective October 31, 2024. After 100 years plus of serving our beloved community, we are saddened to take this step.”

“As a token of appreciation for your unwavering support we will offer a discount of 30% off all remain in-stock items until our final day. We invite you to visit us one last time and take advantage of these savings.”


“Thank you for being an integral over the past 100 + years. The relationships we’ve built and the memories we’ve shared will always hold a special place in our hearts. With sincere Gratitude, Douglas Vollmer – Owner.”
