WEST UNITY – Swanton scored three in the third to tie the game, but the Cadets responded in the fifth thanks in part to a Kelsy Connolly solo blast for a 5-3 win.
Connolly went all seven innings in the circle to earn the win and Sophie Graham had two hits and two RBIs. Alexa Faber paced the Bulldogs at the dish with two hits and a run batted in.
