The Fulton County Commissioners convened for their regular session on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the Commissioners Session Room on South Fulton Street.

The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, an opening prayer, and a roll call, with Commissioners Jeff Rupp, Joe Short, and Jon Rupp in attendance.

The board passed several resolutions, including the approval of the May 6 meeting minutes (Resolution 2025-310) and the day’s agenda as presented (Resolution 2025-311).

A series of financial and administrative reviews followed, such as the Dog Warden reports for the weeks ending April 12 and April 19, the April 2025 Investment Report, a Certificate of Non-Compliance, and an Amended Certificate of Estimated Resources.

During the session, the commissioners adopted Resolution 2025-312, which approved appropriation requests from various departments.

They also authorized legal advertising for 2026 contractual services for public utilities (Resolution 2025-313), awarded the 2025 Pavement Marking Program bid on behalf of the County Engineer (Resolution 2025-314), and approved a draw for the Lead Safe Ohio Program (Resolution 2025-315). Purchase orders and travel requests were also authorized under Resolution 2025-316.

The meeting adjourned shortly after 9:05 a.m. The next regular session will be Tuesday May 13th at 9:00 a.m.
