TECHNOLOGY … The Bryan Rotary Club was given an overview by fellow Rotarians Dylan Wagner and Daniel Tinch (pictured above) of ChatGPT and how AI can help in everyday life. GPT stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformer. ChatGPT is a chatbot developed by OpenAI, designed to engage in human-like conversations and generate text. You can interact by typing text prompts or using your voice. It can be used for a wide variety of tasks, from answering questions and summarizing texts to writing content. Also, it can review and improve documents, create monthly plans, simplify complex news, create power point presentations, and build clear instructions. While ChatGPT is designed to avoid reproducing any copyrighted content, it may sometimes produce something that resembles existing material. It does not “copy and paste” from sources. When creating a project, it is important not to share any sensitive information including personal ID, financial and banking, passwords and logins, private or confidential, and proprietary or intellectual property.
