BOYS CHAMPION … Fayette’s Ethan Lee won the Boys Lower Division race with a time of 17:10 as the Eagles finished forts in the team standings.

HUDSON, MICH. (October 4, 2025) – Fayette’s boys cross country team captured the boy’s lower division title in the Hudson, Michigan Boosters Invitational held on Saturday, October 4.


Led by individual champion Ethan Lee who was clocked in 17:10, Fayette claimed the team championship with 68 points and runner-up Sand Creek finished with 91 points.

Pettisville placed fourth out of ten teams with 120 points and North Central was seventh with 149 points.

Other area runners who finished in the top 20 individual places were Alex Galvin of Pettisville who was third overall (18:08), followed by Tyler Wilburn of Pettisville who placed fifth overall (18:12) and Garrett Stambaugh of Fayette was 16th (18:57), Mason Leininger of Fayette was 18th (19:05) and Dawson Schang of Fayette was 20th (19:16).


In the boys’ upper division race, Archbold placed third overall with 112 points as Erie Mason won the team title with 99 points and Blissfield, Mich. was runner-up with 104 points.

Delta finished eighth overall with 196 points, Wauseon was 13th (300) and Evergreen was 17th (460).
Clay Wasnich of Wauseon was the top area finisher placing fifth overall in 17:30.

Archbold’s Jude Hudson was 10th (17:58), Carson Sintobin of Delta was 13th (18:16) and Connor Plassman of Archbold was 14th (18:19) rounding out the top 20 finishers.

In the girls’ upper division race, Archbold finished as runner-up with 76 points as Blissfield, Michigan took the team title with 38 points. Wauseon was fifth (169), Delta was eighth (194) and Evergreen was 12th (281).


Wauseon’s Ella Rhoades was the area’s top individual finisher placing third overall with a time of 19:09. Other area runners who finished in the top 20 were Hadley Hudson of Archbold who was fifth (20:24), Sydnie Whitinger of Delta was 11th (21:54), Cagnee Grime of Archbold was 14th (22:07), Carleigh Cone of Delta was 16th (22:08), Janae Marillo of Archbold was 19th (22:27) and Natalie Schmucker of Archbold was 20th (22:28).

In the girls’ lower division race, Pettisville placed fourth out of six teams with 95 points. Sand Creek took the team title with 42 points. Fayette’s Addison Schang claimed the lower division individual title with a time of 20:55.

Other area girls who finished in the top 20 places were Emily Suydam of Hilltop who was fifth (22:39), Kennedy Kunkle of Fayette was 6th (22:45), Keren Maldonado of Pettisville was 7th (23:02), Grace Davis of Pettisville was 8th (23:16) and Kayla Sliwinski of Fayette was 18th (24:36).
