The Edgerton Park Board convened Monday, October 27, at 4:04 p.m., with committee member Camie Hicks in attendance. Board members Bill Swank, Chris Sanchez, and Abby Witsman were absent.

Also present were Denise Knecht, Dawn Fitzcharles, Mayor Bob Day, Jeff Lyon of Mainstreet Edgerton, Eddie Bohn, Village Council member Leslie VanAusdale, and several community members.

First on the agenda, Dawn Fitzcharles provided a recap of 2025 progress and outlined 2026 budget priorities.

Updates included ongoing community center construction, renovations to the baseball fields, and improvements to the disc golf course. Looking ahead to 2026, Fitzcharles noted planned parking enhancements and new pickleball courts.

Jeff Lyon of Mainstreet Edgerton presented a proposal for an open-air stage at Miller Park to host concerts and community events. He requested that the board forward the proposal to the village council for consideration.

Eddie Bohn, serving as liaison and advisor for Four County student and Eagle Scout candidate Karlee Collins, asked the board to schedule a special meeting before January to discuss her proposed Eagle Scout project: a new dog park.

Bohn urged the board to meet with Karlee to review the idea and, if supported, present it to the village council.

The meeting adjourned at 4:55 p.m. The next regular meeting is scheduled for January.
