The Fulton County Commissioners met for their regular session on January 20, 2026. The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance, prayer, and roll call. The board approved minutes from the January 13 and January 15 meetings, along with the agenda as presented.
Commissioners approved payment of county bills and several appropriations requests, including funds for the Lyons Water Tower, Metamora Downtown project, and Love’s Travel Stop grant projects, along with utility expenses for county facilities.
The board approved the Fulton County Housing Program semi-annual income report and the Economic Development Revolving Loan Fund semi-annual report.
Several contracts and agreements were approved on behalf of county departments, including agreements with Adriel School and the Ohio Teaching Family Association for child placement services, a memorandum of understanding with Fairlawn for Senior Center services, and acceptance of 2026 funding from the Area Office on Aging.
Additional actions included approval of an Maumee Valley Planning Organization grant draw request, disposal of unneeded Senior Center property, award of bids for marketing and nonemergency transportation services for Job and Family Services, rejection of bids for work experience payroll services, approval of a contract with Owens Community College for the Sheriff’s Office, approval of a Senior Center personnel request, acceptance of a Senior Center resignation, and approval of purchase orders and travel requests.
Following a recess, commissioners reviewed Ditch Improvement 2154-Schrock, with the first public hearing scheduled for February 19, 2026, at 9:15 a.m. in the Commissioners Board Room. The meeting adjourned at 10:04 a.m.
