PRESS RELEASE – During its February 12 meeting, the Four County ADAMhs Board approved a three-year community plan for 2026 through 2028. The plan is based on a comprehensive community assessment that the board completed.
The assessment identified the most critical unmet needs affecting persons served by ADAMhs-funded agencies and explained how the board would address those needs over the next three years.
The Ohio Department of Behavioral Health and the Ohio Department of Development have awarded a supportive housing grant totaling $18,128 to the Northwestern Ohio Community Action Commission (NOCAC).
The grant is intended to help homeless individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. The board approved an agreement with NOCAC to administer the grant.
The board also approved a $20,000 contract with Harbor Behavioral Health in Toledo to provide ambulatory detoxification services for adults.
Next month, the board will hold its annual training meeting. In April, the board will begin awarding service contracts for the 2027 fiscal year, which begins on July 1.
