2016-03-18 Davey - TK (7) WEBOn March 12, the Bryan Moose was packed to the gills for the fourth annual Davey Farrell Memorial Project benefit. The day-long festival is held annually in memory of Davey Farrell, one of the most enduring and beloved musicians ever to take a stage in the tri-state area who lost his battle with a form of cancer known as GIST (Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors). Those close to Davey have kept his memory and his spirit alive through the Memorial Project, which holds an annual festival with proceeds going to a different organization each year. This year’s blowout netted $7,600 for the Four County Career Center Endowment Fund, who received the check from the Memorial Project on the afternoon of March 18. Shown at the presentation are Rick Hupe from the Four County Career Center, Terry McDaniel, Elmer Baker and John Reichle from the Davey Farrell Memorial Project, and Tracy Dopp, the Co-Chair of the Four County Career Center Endowment Fund.
