Edgerton officials will discuss transition plans as a replacement for the village administrator will be discussed.

Kevin Brooks is leaving the village to take a position with the village of Montpelier. Brooks will become the deputy village manager there, and will eventually become the manager when the current manager retires.

Brooks said it is likely the Village Council will approve his proposed transition plan which will have him working part-time while the village finds an interim administrator.

The council met for 15 minutes at its last meeting and took no actions other than paying bills, Brooks said.

Follow ups:
Increased police patrols at Miller Park has resulted in no further incidents involving people illegally accessing the ball fields or other suspicious acts, Brooks said.

The spring cleanup was a success as residents fill seven large walk-in containers with rubbish April 23.
