N1212P57014CFAYETTE – With her Stryker Lady Panthers trailing 48-35 at the end of three, Conner Varner took the team on her back and led the charge against the Fayette Lady Eagles on January 31. Varner fired off a dozen of her game-high 26 points in the fourth period to fuel a Stryker rally, but that rally was more than exceeded by the Lady Eagles, who converted a dozen free throws and four Ashtyn Baker field goals into the insurance protecting a 68-53 BBC win.

Baker led the Lady Eagles with 17 points, with Mikayla Smith hitting for 16, Taylor Griffiths 13 and Kaela Seiler 11. Paige Keefer knocked down 5 points, Allison Cuff had 4 points, and Alexis Fruchey had 2 points for the 14-3 / 6-1 Lady Eagles.

Varner was the only Lady Panther in double figures. Michaela Rupp put in 8 points, Connor Sullivan had 5 points, Maddie Uribes, Hannah Doehrmann and Christie Huston each had 4 points, and Emily Rupp had 2 points.
