Wauseon Board Of Education Retires Therapy Dog After Nine Years

The Wauseon Board of Education approved the following items on its agenda July 11.
Approved a resolution to retire therapy dog Kramer after nine years with the district. Kramer will continue to work at the school with the next dog.
Middle School Principal Joe Weiss will have custody of Kramer.
Accepted the resignation of high school Spanish teacher Kelsey Newman.
Approved the voluntary transfer of Jessica Schuette from a WES Title Reading Teacher to a WPS Intervention Specialist, effective with the 2016-17 school year.
Approved the voluntary transfer of Kayla Simon from a WES Intervention Specialist to the WES Title Reading/Math Teacher, effective with the 2016-17 school year.
Accepted the resignation of Mandy Hunter as the WHS Marching Band Auxiliary Coach and WHS Majorette Coach, effective June 27.
Approved a trip for the high school band to a band camp at Trine University in Angola, Ind., July 23-28.
Set the following workbook fees for 2016-17:

Kindergarten – $34
First grade – $21
Second grade – $37
Third grade – $19
Fourth grade – $27
Fifth grade – $25
Sixth grade – $12
Seventh grade – $0
Eighth grade – $0
