Treva Leu, age 90, of West Unity passed away late Saturday July 16, 2016 at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Care Center. Prior to her retirement she had worked as a Registered Histology Technician at Mercy Hospital in Toledo prior to retirement in 1980.
Miss Leu was born near Stryker, Ohio on April 28, 1926 the daughter of the late Clarence and the late Amanda (Short) Leu. She was a member of the West Unity United Methodist Church.
Surviving are nephews; David (Maria) Leu of Gaithersburg, Maryland, Daniel Leu, Donavon Leu, Paul (Sasha) Leu all of West Unity, Mark (Karen) Leu of Archbold and Darrell (Denise) Leu of West Unity. Also surviving are nieces Debra Hutchison of Indianapolis and Dee (Dan) Custer of West Unity and many grand nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death besides her parents were brothers; Jacob, John, Clinton, Milo “Mike” and Doyle Leu and nephew Devon Leu.
