Four County Board Of Education Approves Resignations & New Hires

The August Meeting of The Four County Career Center Board of Education was held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.

As part of the Treasurer’s Report, the Board accepted and/or approved the following items:
•July Meeting Minutes.

•Financial statements and investments for the month of July as presented.

•Appropriation Modifications as presented.

•Revised cost sheet for Cosmetology due to recent law change.


•Updated change funds as presented.

As part of the Superintendent’s Report, the board accepted and/or approved the following items:
•The resignation of Cathy Rupp, English Instructor, for the purpose of accepting a Supervisor position.

•The resignation of Lisa Creager, Pre-School Aide, effective August 10, 2016

•The resignation of Stephanie Sager, Hospitality Aide, effective August 12, 2016.

•A one-year contract to Chelsea Stewart as English Instructor.

•A one-year contract to Amy Maassel as Hospitality Aide.


•Substitute lists for Internal, School Nurse, Certified, Educational Aide, Cafeteria, Secretarial, Custodial and Warehouse as presented.

•Lab/Lab Instructors as presented.

•The Teacher Mentors as presented.

•The Ag Ed 5th Quarter Grant Program Instructors as presented.

•The Health Careers 2016-17 Handbook.

•The service agreement with Ayersville School District to provide bus transportation to the Suspension Center for the 2016-17 school year.


•A 1-year Master Contract between the Four County JVSD Education Association and The Four County JVSD Board of Education.

•Donation from Stephanie and Carl Pippin of material for building a barrier around the Vet Assisting Storage Shed.

•Under Board Committee Reports, the Board received updates from: Directors of Operations and Adult Education

Upcoming meetings involving members of the Four County Career Center Board of Education include the regular September Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m., on September 15, 2016 in the Multi-Purpose Room at Four County Career Center.
