Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Native American Day on Tuesday, September 27th at the Pioneer Branch Library from 3:00 to 4:15 pm.
Williams County was once frequented by Pottawatomie and Wyandot tribes. After 1833, during the ‘Trail of Tears,’ few of the tribes remained. Come remember and hear stories of Native American influence in our great country. Special guest and Cherokee descendant, Robert Bauer from the Williams County Historical Society, will present the rich history of Native Americans in Northwest Ohio in full tribal dress. This program is open to all school children.
